Celebrating a Win at the HRD Awards 2024!

We’re excited to share that PLC took home the “Excellence in Technology Adoption (Training Provider)” award at the Human Resource Development (HRD) Awards 2024! This prestigious recognition was presented at the awards ceremony on 7 November at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur, an evening that celebrated the best in human capital development across Malaysia.

Our very own Head of Learning & Campus Experience, M Syarin M Yussof, proudly accepted the award on behalf of PLC in the presence of esteemed guests, including Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Fadillah Yusof and Datuk Azman Bin Mohd Yusof, Secretary General, Ministry of Human Resources.

The HRD Awards – organised by HRD Corp – are Malaysia’s top honour in human resource development. These awards recognise outstanding contributions that truly make a difference in how people are managed, trained, and developed in our country. Winning in the Excellence in Technology Adoption category is a huge milestone for us, as it highlights PLC’s commitment to using advanced technology to create dynamic, engaging learning experiences for our participants. We’re passionate about equipping our participants with the tools they need to grow, adapt, and lead – all while keeping pace with industry trends and tech advancements.

The HRD Awards go beyond just handing out trophies; they aim to inspire and uplift the whole industry. On top of this award, PLC was also a finalist in the “Excellence in Learning Innovation” category, which further displays our commitment to pushing the boundaries of training. This acknowledgment shows our dedication to creative, forward-thinking approaches in learning that make a real impact on our participants.

This recognition strengthens our mission to drive human capital development in PETRONAS. We’re incredibly proud of this achievement, and it motivates us to keep finding new ways to elevate our training programmes.
